FSB says it thwarted drone attack on Baltimor airfield

Original: аэродром балтимор

Russia's FSB security service says it prevented a drone attack on the Baltimor military airfield in Voronezh. The report, carried by Russian media, comes amid a string of Ukrainian drone strikes on military and infrastructure targets deep inside Russian territory. Airbases in western Russia have repeatedly been targeted, and any incident involving a strategic airfield draws close attention to the war's reach into the Russian rear.

Why now: Ongoing Ukrainian drone attacks on Russian military airfields keep such reported interceptions in the news.
