Jaguar's new concept car mocked for stark design
Original: What a terrible-looking car. The exterior looks like an unfinished prototype and the interior looks like a padded room.
Jaguar's new concept car, the Type 01, is drawing sharp criticism for its design. Detractors say the exterior looks like an unfinished prototype, while the minimalist interior is compared to a padded room. The comments fit a broader backlash against Jaguar's radical rebrand and futuristic design direction, which has divided opinion among car enthusiasts and designers since its unveiling.
Why now: Jaguar's polarising redesign continues to provoke strong reactions online.
