Trump Shares Debunked Denzel Washington Endorsement Claim

Original: denzel washington

Donald Trump has shared a claim that actor Denzel Washington endorsed him, despite the endorsement being debunked. The post is drawing attention as the two-time Oscar winner has never publicly backed Trump, and fact-checkers have previously dismissed similar claims. The story is gaining traction online, with the topic also trending in France, as people discuss the spread of false celebrity endorsements ahead of the election.

Why now: Trump sharing a debunked celebrity endorsement is controversy-prone news that spreads quickly on social media.
