Spanish royals make rare visit to Ceuta after migrant crisis
Spain's royal family has made a rare visit to Ceuta, the Spanish enclave on the North African coast, following a migrant crisis there. The visit is notable for its rarity, as Spanish monarchs seldom travel to the enclave, and it comes at a sensitive time in relations with neighbouring Morocco over migration and border controls.
Why now: The royal visit signals Spain's attention to Ceuta at a moment of heightened tension over migration and relations with Morocco.
