New Zealand's cold spring could hurt India in the field
Original: 'Our fielders must adapt': Why New Zealand's biting spring could hurt India in the field
New Zealand's unusually cold, biting spring conditions are expected to test India's fielders during their tour, with slips and close catchers facing cold, hard hands and greasy balls. Reports say players must adapt to the chill, which could prove costly for the touring side in tight catching situations.
Why now: India's cricket tour of New Zealand is under way and cold spring weather is seen as a factor that could affect fielding standards.
