Forza Horizon 2 Runs at 4K on Old PC Hardware via Azimuth

Original: forza horizon 2

Forza Horizon 2, previously an Xbox exclusive, is reportedly running at around 40 FPS in 4K on a PC equipped with a Radeon RX 580, a graphics card from 2017, using the Azimuth compatibility layer. The result is drawing attention because it suggests decade-old console games can now run well on aging consumer hardware, fueling discussion about the progress of Xbox emulation and compatibility efforts.

Why now: A new demonstration shows a former console-only racing game running smoothly on modest PC hardware, surprising gamers.
