Cassano sparks row calling Pio Esposito 'scarso'

Original: antonio cassano

Antonio Cassano is drawing attention in Italy after arguing that Inter striker Pio Esposito is a weak player, claiming that of the three Esposito brothers, Salvatore is the strongest. Former defender Alessandro Costacurta-era pundit Adani pushed back on air, telling Cassano he would not concede the point, turning the assessment into a heated TV debate.

Why now: His blunt criticism of a rising Inter talent and the live disagreement with a fellow pundit fuelled debate among Italian football fans.
