Melodia Mariposa Stages 'Music in the Shadows' at Pasadena Mausoleum
Original: Melodia Mariposa Brings “Music in the Shadows” to Mountain View Mausoleum
Melodia Mariposa, the Pasadena-area chamber music series, is presenting a concert called 'Music in the Shadows' at the Mountain View Mausoleum, a historic landmark in Altadena. The program continues the group's practice of staging classical performances in distinctive local venues rather than traditional concert halls. Details on the performers and dates were not immediately available.
Why now: The unusual venue choice — a mausoleum — makes the concert a notable local cultural event.
