Library Advocates Rally Support for Funding and Freedom to Read

Original: Follow us to stand up for libraries, defend the freedom to read, and fight for the funding our communities deserve. Join

EveryLibrary, a US library advocacy organisation, is urging Americans to back public libraries, defend the freedom to read, and push for better community funding. The group says thousands of library supporters are taking action across America and is calling on people to follow, share, and join the movement through campaigns tagged with FreedomToRead, SupportLibraries and FundLibraries.

Why now: Library funding and book-banning debates are active political issues in the United States right now.
