Norwegian defence company Kongsberg has decided to build a new production facility in northern Poland dedicated to counter-drone systems. The move reflects growing European investment in air-defence capabilities amid heightened concerns about drone threats near NATO's eastern flank, and strengthens Poland's role as a hub for defence manufacturing.
Why now: Rising concern over drone threats in Europe is driving demand for counter-drone technology and defence investment in the region.
