Moggi disowns former Juventus ally Antonio Giraudo

Original: antonio giraudo

Luciano Moggi has publicly distanced himself from Antonio Giraudo, his longtime associate from the Juventus era, saying he no longer recognises him as a 'brother'. In the same remarks Moggi also criticised John Elkann, claiming that 'at Juve betrayals are the order of the day'. The comments add fresh tension around the club's past leadership and its current owners.

Why now: A public falling-out between two key figures of Juventus's recent history, with an attack on the club's current ownership, is drawing attention in Italy.
