Mario Lemina trends amid Lamine Yamal confusion

Original: mario lemina

Gabon midfielder Mario Lemina is climbing trending lists in Spain, the US, France, Mexico and India. Much of the chatter stems from a viral quote from a Galatasaray player about Barcelona star Lamine Yamal, saying: "Who is that? I don't know him." The similarity between the two names appears to be driving searches for Lemina, with fans debating the dismissive remark about the teenage forward.

Why now: A viral quote dismissing Lamine Yamal, combined with the similar-sounding name, is driving searches for Mario Lemina across several countries.
