Pavia in the headlines on both sides of the Atlantic

Original: pavia

The name Pavia is drawing attention for two unrelated reasons. In the Italian city of Pavia, a bullying case at a school has led to seven minors being reported after a student who changed schools to escape bullies was targeted again. In the US, Vanderbilt quarterback Diego Pavia, Heisman runner-up, is making news over comments about wishing he had played for Deion Sanders and a dispute involving a teammate's mother.

Why now: Two separate news stories, one about bullying in the Italian city and one about the quarterback Diego Pavia, are driving searches for the same name.
