Bayern Munich plans jersey in sponsor's colours

Original: fc bayern

FC Bayern Munich is reportedly planning to release a jersey in the colour scheme of one of its sponsors, according to German sports outlet SPOX. The move is expected to draw considerable criticism from fans, who have long objected to growing commercial influence on the club's traditional kit design.

Why now: Fans and pundits are reacting to the prospect of a shirt design overtly tailored to a sponsor rather than club identity.
