Gaza resident thanks donors for helping family survive famine
Original: RE: https:// mastodon.social/@joynewacc/117 429585799482988 16 hours ago and $100 Guys you made me survive from # genoci
A Gaza resident is publicly thanking online donors, saying small contributions of around $100 helped her family survive famine, paid for food and covered rent for shelter in Gaza, and that she has now reached Italy. The message describes the donations as having worked miracles during what she calls a genocide. Such fundraiser thank-you posts are circulating widely as people share and support aid appeals from Gaza.
Why now: Donation appeals and gratitude posts from Gaza are being shared as people respond to the ongoing famine and displacement crisis.
