Georgia Senator Jon Ossoff says he has 'zero interest' in running for president, publicly ruling out a White House bid. The statement comes as speculation builds over the next Democratic presidential field, making his remarks notable for a prominent young senator often floated as a future national candidate.

Why now: Ossoff is widely seen as a potential future Democratic presidential contender, so his explicit rejection of a run draws attention.
