Commenters debate whether the West is using Ukraine
Original: I know there's a lot more to it, but it kind of feels like the western world is using # Ukraine --battered, nearly bankr
Commenters are voicing frustration that Ukraine, described as battered, nearly bankrupt, outnumbered and grieving, is being left to stand up to Russia on behalf of the Western world while others hold back. The remark reflects a wider debate over Western support, with many sympathising with Ukraine's sacrifices while questioning whether its allies are doing enough.
Why now: Ongoing debate about the scale and limits of Western support for Ukraine in its war with Russia.
