Original: Google lets you make personal Android apps for free now – with just prompts It just got a whole lot easier to vibe code

Google now allows users to create personal Android apps for free using only text prompts, with no coding or developer experience required. The feature, accessible through Google AI Studio, generates simple custom apps on demand. Commenters are calling it a major step for 'vibe coding', letting ordinary users build the exact small tools they need without hiring a developer.

Why now: Google's free prompt-based app building dramatically lowers the barrier to creating personal software, making it a hot tech topic.
