French school shooter possibly influenced by true crime community
Original: # French # SchoolShooter May Have Been Influenced by La Communauté du True Crime https:// oldmantrench.com/2026/10/13/fr
Reports from France suggest a school shooter may have been influenced by La Communauté du True Crime, an online community devoted to true crime content. The claim raises fresh questions about whether fascination with real-life crime cases online can encourage violence, and it is prompting debate about the responsibilities of true crime fandoms, blogs and forums.
Why now: The possible link between an online true crime community and a school shooting is alarming and raises concerns about radicalisation online.
