Halloween photo riffs on The Silence of the Lambs moth
Original: bonjour les agneaux David Redon, Le Silence des agneaux (The Silence of the Lambs), Jonathan Demme, Jodie Foster tags :
French photographer David Redon is sharing a Halloween-themed image playing on The Silence of the Lambs, Jonathan Demme's 1991 thriller starring Jodie Foster. The picture references the death's-head hawkmoth (Acherontia) famously featured in the film, with a pacifier motif suggesting a children's twist, tagged under photography, cinema and education.
Why now: Halloween is approaching and the death's-head hawkmoth image is an instantly recognisable nod to the cult thriller.
