Children found by police after going missing from Canberra daycare
Original: Children found by police after going missing from Canberra daycare By Jade Toomey The owners of Northside Community Serv
Two five-year-old children went missing from the Majura Early Childhood Centre in Dickon, Canberra, prompting a police search. They were later found safe, and Northside Community Service, which operates the centre, has issued an apology over the incident. The case has raised questions about supervision standards at the daycare facility.
Why now: The safety of young children and a daycare's supervision failure naturally alarms parents and draws public attention.
