Project Rho, the reference site for realistic spaceflight in science fiction, has added another space battleship design drawn from the writings of pulp author Malcolm Jameson, who published space warfare stories between 1939 and 1941. The addition includes tactical and strategy notes on how Jameson envisioned ship-to-ship combat, and space enthusiasts are sharing it as part of ongoing interest in retro sci-fi ship design.
Why now: Fans of retro science fiction and space wargaming are interested in seeing 1940s pulp fiction concepts rendered as detailed spacecraft designs.
