Original: A réécouter : les conférences données à la Maison Poincarré -> ça sert à rien les # maths ? https://www. carmin.tv/fr/co

Recordings of the conferences given at the Maison Poincaré in Paris are available to listen to again online, part of the 'Carte blanche' lecture series hosted on the Carmin.tv platform. The talks take up a question that keeps resurfacing in public debate: do mathematics actually serve a purpose? The collection is being shared among French-speaking science and mathematics enthusiasts, with the lectures available as audio for anyone who missed them live.

Why now: The question of the usefulness of mathematics is a recurring popular debate, and the freely available lecture recordings give it fresh attention.
