A maker has built a replica of the Cray-1, the iconic 1970s supercomputer, using around 30 obsolete Mac mini computers. The project recreates the distinctive curved casing of Seymour Cray's legendary machine while recycling outdated Apple hardware. Tech enthusiasts are sharing it as a playful take on the 'we have it at home' meme, celebrating retro computing and clever reuse of e-waste.

Why now: The clever combination of nostalgia, the iconic Cray design, and creative reuse of obsolete hardware appeals strongly to the retro-computing community.
