'VisionQuest' framed as leftover from an older MCU plan
Original: ‘VisionQuest’ Is a By-Product of a Bygone MCU Era
Marvel's upcoming series 'VisionQuest' is being described as a by-product of a bygone era of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The show, centred on the android Vision, was developed under an earlier phase of Marvel's storytelling plans, and commentary argues it carries the sensibility of that period rather than the franchise's current direction. Discussion centres on whether the series fits what the MCU has since become.
Why now: New commentary is reassessing how the series fits into Marvel's shifting plans.
