Several celebrities who sat Japan's weather forecaster certification exam have reported failing it. Shunta Shono, a member of the boy group M!LK, and TV announcer Zen Hazel Shibuya both publicly announced they did not pass, expressing visible frustration and disappointment at the result. The exam is known as a difficult qualification that draws a number of entertainers and announcers each year, so their setbacks drew attention from fans.
