Faber to stop distributing Sally Rooney books in the UK

Original: sally rooney

Publisher Faber says it will no longer distribute Sally Rooney's books in the UK, citing legislation concerning Palestine Action. The move affects the distribution of works by one of Britain and Ireland's most prominent novelists, and the decision is being linked to UK laws covering the proscribed group. The news is drawing attention in the publishing world and among readers discussing the intersection of law, boycotts and free expression.

Why now: A major publisher citing anti-terror legislation over a bestselling author's books is a striking and controversial development.
