Critics fault AP headlines for framing of US politics coverage

Original: the problem with # USpol # journalism in 3 # APNews headlines, as they appear on their website’s home page. don't matter

Commenters are criticizing three Associated Press headlines shown on the news agency's home page, arguing the wording reflects a long-standing problem in American political journalism. The post claims US media have spent decades softening coverage of right-wing politics, prioritizing false balance over clarity regardless of the nuance inside the actual articles. The critique is resonating with readers who share frustration over mainstream headline framing.

Why now: Frustration with perceived false balance in mainstream US political headlines is a recurring flashpoint, and the juxtaposition of three AP headlines offered fresh material for that critique.
