Ukrainian military's Starlink access suddenly restricted

Original: Ukrainian military's access to Starlink satellite internet suddenly restricted

Ukrainian soldiers have reported sudden restrictions on their combat use of Starlink satellite internet, a service critical for battlefield communications and drone operations. The change, reported by the Guardian, has raised concerns about Ukraine's reliance on SpaceX's network at a sensitive point in the war, with observers questioning whether the cutoff is technical, contractual or political.

Why now: Starlink is essential to Ukraine's battlefield communications, so any restriction has immediate military and geopolitical implications.
