Forensic expert links bottle prints to suspect in Faith Hedgepeth murder
Original: Faith Hedgepeth murder: Thumbprint, handprint on Riesling wine bottle came from Miguel Salguero Olivares, crime lab expert says
A crime lab expert testified that a thumbprint and handprint found on a Riesling wine bottle at the scene of Faith Hedgepeth's 2012 killing belong to Miguel Salguero Olivares, the man charged with her murder. The testimony links the suspect directly to the North Carolina campus apartment where the University of North Carolina student was found dead, a case that went unsolved for years.
