Australia has endorsed an international target to install 150 million new rooftop solar systems worldwide by 2030. The pledge, reported by PV Magazine, positions the country alongside global renewable energy efforts and signals continued government support for distributed solar power as part of the worldwide push to cut emissions and expand clean electricity access this decade.
Why now: Australia's endorsement of an ambitious global rooftop solar target is new and relevant to energy and climate policy discussions.
