Producers want Tom Selleck back after Blue Bloods ends

Original: blue bloods

The makers of 'Boston Blue', the spin-off following the end of Blue Bloods after 14 seasons, have said they want Tom Selleck to return as Frank Reagan. Fans of the long-running police drama are discussing whether the veteran actor will reprise his role, and what his return would mean for the new series set in Boston.

Why now: Blue Bloods recently ended its 14-season run, so news of a possible Selleck comeback in the spin-off is drawing attention from longtime fans.
