Danny Trejo tied to pro-ICE film backed by Ben Shapiro
Original: Danny Trejo Is ‘Handcuffed’ to a Pro-ICE Ben Shapiro Movie
Actor Danny Trejo is being connected to a pro-ICE film produced under Ben Shapiro's media outfit, with reports describing him as effectively 'handcuffed' to the project. The story is drawing attention because of the contrast between Trejo's public image and the film's hardline immigration stance, prompting discussion about his involvement and what it means for his reputation.
Why now: The unexpected pairing of a beloved Latino actor with a conservative pro-ICE project is striking and controversial.
