A workshop overhaul reached its test stage: after tightening nuts and bolts, running numerous checks and making adjustments, fluids were filled and the engine fired up successfully. Some fine-tuning was needed afterwards, including idle adjustment to stop the clutch from ringing, and the blade guides had been so badly misaligned they were sparking and had to be corrected.
