MOAA Urges Congress to Protect Pay Parity for Uniformed Services
Original: MOAA Urges Congress to Protect Pay Parity for All Uniformed Services
The Military Officers Association of America is pressing Congress to safeguard pay parity across all uniformed services, warning against any gap in annual pay raise legislation that would treat one service differently from the others. The group says Congress must ensure every service member receives the same raise as the defense bill moves forward.
Why now: The military pay raise is being decided in Congress right now, and veterans' groups are pushing to keep parity intact.
