Version 1.2 of Koona Pin, a bookmark library, has been released. The tool stores all bookmarks in a SQLite file on the user's computer, saves pages with one click from Firefox, Chrome, Edge and Safari, supports incremental search via a keyboard shortcut, and works fully offline. Its developer says it contains no telemetry, and syncing between computers is encrypted. The release is being discussed for its privacy-first, local-first approach to bookmarking.

Why now: Interest in privacy-respecting, offline-first software alternatives to cloud bookmarking services.
