Carlos Espí trends after Tintó's remarks

Original: carlos espí

Journalist Carlos Espí is drawing attention across several countries after Spanish pundit Tintó questioned his role in the conversation around Real Madrid and coach José Mourinho's hypothetical tactical decisions, saying he did not understand why Mourinho would not move Kylian Mbappé to the wing, where he wastes chances, instead of fielding Espí as a striker. The comment, published by MARCA, mixes football debate with a jab at Espí, pushing his name up search trends in the US, India, Germany, Mexico, Brazil and France.

Why now: A pointed quote from a football pundit name-checking him is spreading across multiple countries' trending lists.
