Mutual aid appeal seeks $20 within hours
Original: RE: https:// cyberpunk.lol/@tiredpinklover/ 117441126646263319 ‼️ $0/$20 needed within 4-5 hours!! ‼️ social interaction
A social media user is asking for $20 in donations, needed within four to five hours, saying social interaction is vital to their mental health and sharing links for supporters to contribute. The appeal is being boosted through mutual aid groups on the fediverse, a common way users crowdfund small urgent needs. It has drawn a handful of likes so far, with no donations reported yet.
Why now: Mutual aid requests are routinely shared and amplified in these communities to help people meet urgent small expenses.
