Physicists mourn the death of the QED proof
Original: QED, que en paz descanse la demostración 😞 # quantum # physics
Posts in Spanish are joking that QED — the traditional sign-off at the end of mathematical proofs — should rest in peace, tagging the remarks with quantum and physics hashtags. The comments play on the double meaning of the abbreviation: in Spanish 'que en paz descanse' means rest in peace, while QED stands for 'quod erat demonstrandum'.
Why now: unclear
