Ohtani bats sixth as DH with team down 0-2 in Championship Series

Original: リーグチャンピオンシップシリーズ

Shohei Ohtani was listed sixth in the batting order as designated hitter for Game 3 of the League Championship Series, with his team trailing 0-2 in the best-of-seven. He skipped pre-game batting practice after an unusual four straight days of taking it beforehand, instead adjusting indoors as the club looks to turn the series around.

Why now: The Dodgers face elimination pressure at 0-2, and any change involving Ohtani draws close attention from fans.
