Canterbury School seniors teach tech skills to older adults worldwide
Original: Canterbury School seniors teach older adults how to use technology internationally
Seniors at Canterbury School are volunteering to teach older adults how to use technology, with the effort reaching seniors internationally. The student-led initiative pairs young people with older adults who want help navigating phones, computers and the internet, and it is drawing attention as an example of youth service crossing borders.
Why now: The intergenerational and international angle of a student volunteering programme makes it a feel-good story people are sharing.
