Original: Hello fine people of Mastodon! I'm Frank: a soil ecologist, popular-science author, nature macrophotographer and science
Frank Ashwood, a soil ecologist, popular-science author, macrophotographer and science communicator, has introduced himself to Mastodon, saying he is a new father and aims to raise awareness of the tiny organisms that keep soils healthy. His arrival is being welcomed by the platform's wildlife and nature community, where scientists and photographers are an active presence.
Why now: A well-rounded science communicator introducing himself draws attention in the wildlife and nature community.
