Original: rory mcilroy

Rory McIlroy is trending in Australia, the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada and Sweden. The golf star's name is drawing searches at the same time as the European Tour's announcement that LIV golfers must choose between the rival circuit and competing in its events, with the door closed on playing both.

Why now: Attention on McIlroy coincides with the European Tour's ultimatum forcing LIV golfers to pick one tour.
