A popular Japanese morning drama actress attended the Busan International Film Festival and surprised onlookers by watching a screening from the audience seats rather than a VIP area. Smart FLASH reports she wore a luxury dress valued at around 2.18 million yen, yet drew praise for her unpretentious charm. Japanese entertainment media are highlighting the contrast between the high-priced outfit and her down-to-earth behavior.

Why now: The unusual sight of a star sitting among ordinary festival-goers in an expensive dress is drawing attention in Japanese celebrity news.
