Protests have erupted over Flock Safety's surveillance technology at a tech conference in San Francisco, with demonstrators raising privacy concerns about the company's camera and license-plate reading systems. Critics argue the widespread deployment of such tools enables mass tracking of people's movements, while the company markets its products as crime-fighting tools for cities and neighborhoods.
