Americans urged to confront senators during month-long recess
Original: Your senators are within driving distance for thirty-five days. That is not a vacation. That is a venue. What are you go
A call is circulating urging Americans to use the Senate's roughly five-week recess to show up and question their senators in person, framing the break as an opportunity rather than a vacation. The message ties the push to concerns over the Justice Department, jobs and the economy, asking people to decide what to ask and where to do it.
Why now: The Senate recess gives constituents a rare chance to pressure lawmakers face-to-face amid ongoing political controversy.
