Dodgers face historic 3-0 deficit in NLCS
Original: Has there ever been a 3-0 comeback in MLB? Dodgers have to rally now to reach World Series
The Los Angeles Dodgers have fallen into a 3-0 series deficit and must now attempt an unprecedented comeback to reach the World Series. No MLB team has ever overturned a 3-0 best-of-seven series deficit, making the Dodgers' task historically unlikely. Sports outlets across the United States are examining whether any team has managed such a rally as the series continues.
Why now: The Dodgers' 3-0 hole in the NLCS puts a possible World Series run on the line with no MLB team ever having come back from it.
