A popular Japanese morning drama actress drew attention at the Busan International Film Festival by watching a screening from the audience seats alongside festivalgoers rather than a VIP area. Reports say she wore a dress worth about 2.18 million yen, but her unpretentious manner charmed those in attendance, prompting coverage in Japanese celebrity media.

Why now: Her unexpectedly down-to-earth choice to sit with regular audience members in an expensive dress is generating buzz.
