India Asks UN Human Rights Body For Report On Pakistan's Actions In PoK
India has asked the UN Human Rights Council to prepare a report on Pakistan's actions in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir, according to NDTV. The move escalates New Delhi's diplomatic pressure on Islamabad over the region, which India claims as its own territory. No further details about the request or Pakistan's response were immediately available.
Why now: Ongoing tensions between India and Pakistan over Kashmir keep the issue in the news.
