Journalist Shiv Aroor says anti-India racism on X has received abnormal reach, engagement and payouts for over a year, claiming the platform's algorithm effectively incentivises racist content against Indians. He links the pattern to an alleged mass shooting plot by a white terrorist, saying Indians on the platform have watched the trend unfold. His post drew thousands of likes and is fueling debate over algorithmic bias and monetisation of hateful content.
